But Audi achieved it, with February sales increasing overall for Audi of America by 17 percent to 13,741 vehicles. In the brand’s size hierarchy, the Audi Q7 currently occupies the top notch. But that may soon change if the latest prototype from the four rings is anything to go by. At this year’s Detroit Auto Show, Audi took the wraps off the Q8 Concept, which showcases what a plug-in hybrid luxury CUV could do.

When you’re an automaker such as Audi, and have thirty-five years of providing the industry with one of the most innovative all-wheel drive platforms ever, would you rest on your laurels? The answer, of course, is no. Along with a deluge of new vehicles, the four rings has also introduced a new, more fuel efficient breed of their famous technology.

It was over three years ago that Audi vaulted into the entry-level compact luxury segment with their all-new A3. Since then, the lineup has grown to include an E-Tron, Cabriolet, Sportback, S3, and an RS3 (coming 2018). But that’s not all. For 2017, the four rings surprised us all by giving the sedan an early refresh with stunning results.

It seems to us at Audi Central Houston that the good folks at MotorWeek quite simply cannot get enough of our beloved German brand. In the past few weeks alone, they've shared largely laudatory reviews for two of Audi's sedans, the A4 and the S3.
