To say that six straight years of sales growth and counting shows improvement would be an understatement. But Audi achieved it, with February sales increasing overall for Audi of America by 17 percent to 13,741 vehicles. That's right around 2,000 vehicles more than the previous February, and the first two months of 2017 alone have seen Audi U.S. sales ratchet up 14 percent, to 26,942 vehicles. SUV demand, including for Q5 and Q7, helped in large part to drive the increase, with 36 percent improvement on the month, while A4 sedans increased 30 percent, A3 e-tron increased 61 percent, A7 rose 10 percent and A8 rose 15 percent. If you're looking for a perennial testament to Audi quality, these numbers are it.
With "SUVs making up 50 percent of [Audi] sales volume," according to Mark Del Rosso, Audi of America's chief operating officer, "the launch of the all-new Q5 this spring" should be yet another game-changer.
